Weight or Line?
Weight has always been considered an indicator of physical condition. Many of us weigh ourselves and, based on a weight/height standard, decide whether to go on a diet.
This is a myth that continues to live a life of its own, because it has been proven that weight is influenced by various factors, such as water retention or the amount of muscle tissue.
The person who starts a physical activity program, for example, begins to weigh more, because muscle is heavier than fat.
A more accurate indicator of physical fitness is the line, that is, the outline of the body. In a person who does physical activity, the line transforms and becomes more fluid, clothes slide on the body, and the circumference of the waist, hips and thighs decreases, even if the weight increases.
